Each November, The Lincoln Forum awards three scholarships to educators currently teaching Social Studies in an elementary, middle, or high school in the United States. Teachers of other curricular areas will be considered if they can demonstrate how their work connects with the study of Abraham Lincoln.

This scholarship includes all registration costs to attend our annual symposium held in Gettysburg (November 16-18), as well as three nights lodging at the Wyndham Gettysburg, and all travel reimbursement.  All applications must be received on or before May 18, 2024.

Applicants must submit the following materials:

  • An essay of 500 words or less, explaining your interest in Lincoln, why you want to attend our symposium, and how it will aid you in your curricular and teaching goals.
